This Leaf-rolling Weevil was found on the Indonesian Bay Leaf (Syzygium polyanthum) tree in August 2014. The leaf that it was residing on was cut, which I assumed was the work of this beetle. On the same tree was a rolled up leaf which was likely to be the nest of such beetles.

This Leaf-rolling Weevil was at work cutting up a young leaf on a Mango Tree (Mangifera indica) to build its nest when I spotted it in June 2013.

As I did not stay and watch it complete building its nest, I went back 2 weeks later to inspect its work. There were at least 6 nests being constructed.
